Our Trivia Night Fundraiser on Saturday night was a cracker and a lot of fun was had by all who attended. We had 35 tables booked and over 280 people attended!
THE RESULTS: 1st place- The Main Contenders (won 8 x $50 vouchers donated by local businesses and 2 large hampers donated by Peter Dutton MP)
2nd place- Tap That (won 8 x picnic hampers donated by Cnr Darren Grimwade each with a bottle of wine and a $25 fuel card donated by Caltex)
3rd place- The McMabbs (won 8 x Pizza Commune vouchers and 8 x The Long Yard Larder vouchers)
Wooden Spoon- Old Blokes in Lycra (won hats, thongs and stubby coolers donated by the Lion Group)
A huge thank you to our trivia host Anthony Walsh for running the night and keeping us entertained. And thank you to Jenny and Sophia for helping with the scoring.
And also a big thank you to John Nuell for conducting the auction for us. We had some great auction and raffle prizes donated by local businesses and organisations and we greatly appreciate the support given to Samford RDA.
THE FUNDS: We are still finalising the costs incurred but at first calculation our Trivia Night Fundraiser raised OVER $14,000 for Samford Riding for the Disabled!!!
