Our special herd of horses is our greatest asset. Without them we have no service to offer. We select them with the greatest of care, spare nothing to look after them and we love them to bits. In return they give us everything they have. Click here to see more about their sponsors.

Meet our herd of very special horses...

Peter Pan Peter Pan is a sturdy 2005 year model stock/quarter horse cross. He is a very affectionate and curious boy who adores people. He is also quite mischievous and likes to scatter the contents of his grooming kit about and nibble on anything else that comes within range! Peter Pan is generously sponsored by Rotary Club of Samford Valley Inc.	Misty Misty is a very pretty 2007 year model. A buckskin mare, about 14.1hh with a placid temperament, she has fast become the favourite with our riders and volunteers! We were able to purchase Misty with funding from the Samford & District Progress and Protection Association. Misty is proudly sponsored by Nikki Boyd MP QLD.	Paddington Bear Paddington Bear is a grey gelding arriving in the world in 2012. He is strongly built with somewhat indeterminate breeding! He has a lovely, calm nature although he still needs to learn a few things, especially standing at the tie-up. Paddington was purchased with generous funding from the Samford & Districts Progress and Protection Association. Noddy Noddy is a lovely 2007 year model chestnut thoroughbred who has a cheeky and cuddly nature. As former race horse (‘Hey Frisco’), he receives extra support from the QLD Off-the-Track program.	Cody Cody arrived in the world in 2008 and is a gorgeous bay Clydesdale-cross gelding. He is very pretty but does think he s invited everywhere the others are going. Cody is sponsored by Airforce Aircon of Brendale.	Hercules Hercules is a friendly giant Clydesdale-cross gelding thundering into the world in 2011. He is a seasoned RDA horse and a kind boy and loves working with his riders. Hercules is proudly sponsored by the Golden Valley Keperra Lions Club.
Peppy Peppy is a 2012 model and arrived at Samford the same day Hercules did as they are both experienced RDA horses and have worked together for quite a few years now. Peppy is kindly sponsored by former local MP Peter Dutton.	Holly Holly thinks she is prettier than the others with her sun bleached lochs and surfer girl style. She came into the world in 2009. We do love her lots though and she helps with some of our hippotherapy riders. Holly is proudly sponsored by Samford Garage.	Yogi Yogi, our chocolate brown boy, arrived in the world in 2009. Yogi is proudly sponsored by Scott Palazzi of Samford Loan Market.
