Welcome workers

Samford RDA had a welcome visit this month from employees of Charter Hall who swapped a day at the office for working in our horse paddocks.

The shopping centre management team, based at Arana Hills Plaza, allocate two community volunteering days every year. They spent the day at our centre chipping weeds, trimming trees and cleaning grazing areas – work that was greatly appreciated by the committed volunteers who maintain the centre and surrounding paddocks.

We greatly appreciate the efforts of the Charter Hall employees. Samford RDA relies on community and corporate support to provide services that assist adults and children with a disability. Our centre currently operates with eight horses and specialised programs that develop abilities and enriches the lives of participants.
