Local business Airforce Pty Ltd was our first corporate horse sponsor some years ago – and their financial support continues now as a new Platinum Horse Sponsor. Bill Basham from Airforce Pty Ltd recently dropped by to meet his sponsored horse, newcomer Inde. Inde was generously gifted to us by the family of volunteer and friend, the late Peggy Stewart. He is the third horse to be sponsored by Airforce over the years and he joined the program recently after Red’s well-earned retirement.
Local Moreton Bay Regional Councillor and long-time RDA supporter, Cr Darren Grimwade, also called into the Centre to meet Betty his sponsored RDA horse. Like Inde, Betty recently joined the program after successfully completing a rigorous trial and assessment period. Cr Grimwade’s Platinum Sponsorship will help to care for and feed Betty over the coming 12 months.
