Great sponsor support for Paddington Bear

Samford Community Bank has contributed $2000 to help meet veterinary costs in support of its sponsored Samford RDA horse, Paddington Bear (pictured).

Paddington recently returned ‘home’ to Samford RDA after a stay at the Sunshine Coast Equine Hospital where he underwent surgery to remove a melanoma. He also spent time at Equicare Rehab in Burpengary to ensure a smooth post-op recovery.

Samford Community Bank has sponsored numerous RDA horses over the years, with their annual sponsorship greatly contributing to our horses’ feeding and care. The Bank’s generous additional funding, together with several recent Samford RDA fund-raising events, will go a long way to paying for Paddington’s major operation.

After being closely monitored and pampered while regaining his fitness, Paddington has now resumed his role working with adults and children with a disability.
