Energy Depot & Adam Kellerman

Writer: samfordrdasamfordrda

In March Energy Depot, Samford will be hosting inspirational speaker and paralympian Adam Kellerman who will be sharing his story and hosting two workshops on Calligraphy Yoga.

Samford RDA is grateful to be the nominated beneficiary of these workshops with $5 from each adult entry being donated to us.

What is Calligraphy Yoga?

It was this practice that helped Adam with his battle with depression and chronic pain, so much so that he has now packed up his wheelchair.

Leanne from Energy Depot explains that Calligraphy yoga includes principles of Tai Chi and Chinese Qigong and incorporates smooth movements and flow. It is gentle and graceful and can be performed while seated in a wheelchair. This workshop is a must if you are wanting to increase your overall well-being and decrease the effects of anxiety, depression, PTSD, pain, lethargy, insomnia, high blood pressure, cancer etc.

Workshops will be held on Saturday 30th March 3pm-5.30pm & Sunday 31st March 9am-11am @ Energy Depot, Station Street, Samford.

Adults -both sessions $45 (or single session $30)

Children over 13yrs -both sessions $20 (or single session $15)

Please text Leanne on 0400 071 214 to book.

$5 from each adult entry will be donated to Samford Riding for the Disabled.
