Land Care Sponsors
Samford RDA is located on about 6 hectares of land with approximately 4.75 hectares of grazable land at our main site. Our holiday paddock leased directly from the Moreton Bay City Council is on 5.8 hectares. 10.5 hectares all up. Click on the maps at the bottom of the page to see more.

Our land is vital for healthy horses. Horses are happiest when they can graze as a herd. Healthy horses are happier horses and this translates directly into their effectiveness with our participants. Healthy land - healthy horses - healthy participants. Healthy paddocks also reduces the need for supplementary feed stock. Weed control, aeration, nutrients, seeding, slashing, and fence management all need ongoing care.
