Thank you LendLease

We received some very welcome help around our centre recently thanks to a Lendlease volunteering initiative.

A group of enthusiastic Lendlease employees (pictured) took part in the company’s Community Day, lending a hand to construct and fill a sleeper garden, cover the sprinkler pipework, and carry out a range of other ‘odd jobs’.

Thank you Lendlease! We rely on volunteers to operate and maintain our centre and paddocks at Samford Showgrounds, so your support to complete a number of physically demanding tasks is greatly appreciated!

Samford RDA volunteers also pitched in to complete the projects, with this group returning after the Community Day to add the finishing touches to the new garden. Soil and a layer of mulch did the job! Pictured are Ronnie, Ben, Gary and Oliver (with Rod behind the camera).
