Thank you Samford Patchworkers for once again selecting Samford RDA as one of two local beneficiaries of your highly successful bi-annual quilt show.
This month the Patchworkers presented us with a very generous $5,000 cheque which will help pay for the upkeep of their sponsored horse, Peter Pan, for the next few years. Their initial donation in 2013 purchased Peter Pan and his saddle, and their ongoing financial support ensures that Peter Pan receives the very best of care as he works with disabled children and adults.

The Samford Patchworkers have done an incredible job bringing creativity and community spirit together. I’ve always admired how handmade quilts carry such warmth and meaning. Recently, I got inspired to update my bedroom with a king quilt cover that has a similar handcrafted vibe. It’s amazing how the right design can make a space feel so cosy and inviting. Thanks for sharing this beautiful story it really reminds us how art and passion connect people.
